Meet Flamur, one of our inspiring Team Leaders! With a passion for technology that started at age 14, he has grown from a full-stack developer to leading complex projects and teams. At Axians, he finds the perfect environment to innovate, learn, and make a real impact. 

 

 

 

 

Hello Flamur, please introduce yourself briefly and tell us about your current position in the company. 

Hello, and thank you for choosing me for this campaign. I’m Flamur Beqiraj, 28 years old, originally from Kosovo, living near Pristina. I’m a team leader responsible for training, code reviews, and occasionally developing my own projects. I’m happy to be part of the team and to share my experiences with you. 

Could you tell us a bit about your career path? How did you reach your current position, and what initially motivated you to work in this field? 

   My passion for technology began when I was 14 years old and created my first website. This enthusiasm led me to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, and I’m currently working on my Master’s degree. I started my career seven years ago as a full-stack developer at another company before joining Axians. I began as an Angular developer and was promoted to team leader due to my language skills and my ability to bridge communication between teams and clients. This skill has been instrumental in leading my team successfully and managing complex projects. 

 How did you come to join our company, and what motivated you to start here? What positions have you held in the company so far? 

   I was introduced to the company by a former professor who worked at Axians. The challenges and interesting projects immediately caught my attention. I started as an Angular developer and was later promoted to team leader, which allowed me to develop my leadership skills and dive deeper into project work. It has been an exciting journey where I’ve learned and grown a lot. 

 How would you describe the company culture here? What makes Axians special? 

 Axians has a culture that offers employees freedom and responsibility. Everyone has the opportunity to develop their own working methods and to make mistakes, which is essential for personal and professional growth. This culture not only fosters creativity but also ensures that you enjoy coming to work, knowing that you have the freedom to implement your ideas. The close collaboration with management, which is always open to suggestions for improvement, creates an environment where you feel valued and heard. 

 

Have you experienced any particular challenges in your career? How did you overcome them? 

Yes, there have been some challenging situations, especially with new projects or technologies I wasn’t yet familiar with. However, Axians provides a very flexible and supportive environment where you get the necessary time and resources to learn new things. We always have the option to reach out to other business units and benefit from their experiences. This support has helped me overcome obstacles and continue to grow. 

Can you share one or more success stories from your time with us? 

One of my biggest success stories is leading a complex project where I was responsible for both the frontend and backend. It was the first time I led a project of this scale, and it was a challenge that I successfully managed. This experience showed me how important it is to have confidence in yourself and your team. In the end, we were able to complete the project to the client’s satisfaction, which made me very proud. 

 What are your career goals for the future, and how does the company support you in achieving them? 

 I want to develop my skills and take on more complex projects. Axians supports me by giving me access to training and development programmes. I am also studying for my Masters, which will allow me to combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience. In the future, I would like to continue working in a role that allows me to drive innovation and develop my team. 

 What advice would you give to new employees who are just starting with us? 

Be curious and take advantage of the freedom offered here to find your own ways and try new things. It’s important not to be afraid of making mistakes but to see them as opportunities to learn and grow. Axians is a company that values your ideas and gives you the opportunity to develop both professionally and personally. Take advantage of these opportunities and enjoy your work.
